In February my wife applied for a visa at the DHA in cape town which would allow her to run her own business in cape town in order to make a living.
All the paper work was in order so we submitted the application.
2 months later we received notification that the application was successful and we can collect her visa. So we drove from brackenfell to cape town to collect it, just to be told it's not there and they don't know where it is.
After rigourous phoning trying to find it, we were informedthat it was in actual fact at the cape town office, but the attendant didn't look in the correct file.
So again we drove back the following day, just to find thy had issued the completely wrong visa. Upon pointing this out to the attendant, all she had to say was, ' it's not her problem, we must phone customer services.'
It is now august and we have yet to get the issue rectified and my wife still can't work because she has the incorrect visa thanks to the incompetence of the DHA. |
